10 great places to drive to - and through

Where would we be in this country without our beloved drive-throughs? Considered one of the best conveniences of modern society, drive-throughs are great places to grab drinks and fast food, drop off laundry, do some banking - even get the car tuned up. Here, Brian Luscomb of Jack in the Box restaurants, the nation's first major drive-through hamburger chain, talks with USA TODAY'S Shawn Sell about some offbeat places through which to drive your car.

"Just sit back, pop in your favorite Animals CD or maybe something by The Byrds, and head over to this drive-through zoo." Stay in your car (it's a rule) and "you'll encounter more than 350 exotic animals, ranging from pot-bellied pigs to giraffes, roaming free on 180 acres of hills and valleys, pasture and woods."
