BONTEX HONORED
FOR EXPORT ACHIEVEMENT
Bontex
was awarded the U.S. Commerce Department
Commercial Service's Export Achievement
Certificate at their corporate headquarters
in Buena Vista. Congressman Bob Goodlatte
presented the certificate to James Kostelni,
Chairman of the Board and CEO, in recognition
of Bontex's success in exporting its products
to Vietnam.
For
over 50 years, Bontex has supplied the
global marketplace with world-class innovative,
enviromentally-friendly, specialty elastomeric
fiberboard materials used in a wide range
of applications for footwear, luggage,
and leathergoods industries. Their products
are used not only as insoles for the footwear
industry, but for visorboard in headwear,
belt backings, and laminating base for
leathergoods. In addition to its Buena
Vista plant, Bontex also has overseas factories
in Belgium and Italy.
