Rockbridge County residents attended The Rockbridge Partnership’s
22nd Annual Business & Industry Appreciation Dinner on May
18th at the Natural Bridge Hotel and Convention Center.
The event is a unique opportunity for the Rockbridge
area to express its appreciation for all the many positive
contributions our major employers and industries provide
to our community.
Pre-dinner activities included hors d’ouevres
and drinks under the historic Natural Bridge, one of
the world’s natural wonders. Dinner was served
in the hotel ballroom following a welcoming address by
Steve Douty, Chair of RAEDC.
The evening’s entertainment was kicked off by Mark
Cline and his delightful portrayal of Mayberry's own deputy
sheriff Barney Fife followed by his hilarious imitation of
Ernest P. Worrel. Musical entertainment was provided by Gary
Ruley / Larry Keel & Mule Train The band “Mule Train,”
combines the versatile talents of Gary Ruley, Larry Keel,
Jenny Keel and Will Lee to release a blend of acoustic based
music from Bluegrass, New Grass and Jazz.
